Price For Stephens-Ingstad Deal In Washington State: $10.725 Million

STEPHENS MEDIA GROUP's deal to buy 14 stations in the YAKIMA and TRI-CITIES (RICHLAND-PASCO-KENNEWICK) markets in WASHINGTON state from INGSTAD RADIO WASHINGTON, LLC. now has a price, which wasn't announced when the deal was first revealed. The contract filed with the FCC and appearing in the Commission database MONDAY morning (4/9) shows that STEPHENS is paying $10.725 million for the stations, which include Country KXDD, Sports KBBO-A-K283BX (1390 THE FAN), Top 40/Rhythmic KHHK (HOT 99.7), Hot AC KHHK-HD2-K291BV (BIG 106.1), Alternative KHHK-HD3-K295BT (106.9 XFM), Classic Rock KRSE (105.7 THE HAWK), Spanish Sports KTCR-A (ESPN DEPORTES RADIO)/YAKIMA; and Classic Hits KARY-F (100.9 CHERRY FM)/GRANDVIEW-YAKIMA.
In TRI-CITIES, INGSTAD's stations include Country KIOK (94.9 THE WOLF), Classic Hits KALE-A-K291BS (BIG 106.1), and Classic Rock KEGX (EAGLE 106.5)/RICHLAND; Sports KJOX-A (1340 ESPN RADIO)/KENNEWICK; Top 40 KUJ-F (POWER 99.1)/BURBANK-PASCO; and AC KKSR (95.7 MORE FM)/WALLA WALLA. An LMA before closing is also part of the deal.
In other filings with the FCC, HOMETOWN BROADCASTING OF AUSTIN, INC. is selling Classic Country KQAQ-A/AUSTIN, MN to REAL PRESENCE RADIO for $450,000 ($22,500 down, $177,500 cash at closing, $250,000 in a promissory note).
GRA COMMUNICATIONS is selling Country WHMT-A and W286BG (CAT COUNTRY 105.1)/TULLAHOMA, TN and W236DG/MANCHESTER, TN to BOWMAN BROADCASTING, LLC plus attached real estate for $55,000.
WENDOLYNN TELLEZ is selling K248CG/KERRVILLE, TX to CENTRO CRISTIANO DE VIDA ETERNA for $30,000 ($5,000 cash, the rest in a promissory note at $5,000/month for five months). The primary station is listed as Spanish Religion KHFX/CLEBURNE, TX.
SACRAMENTO FRENCH CULTURAL SOCIETY is applying for an STA to operate low power FM KZAC-LP/SACRAMENTO at an alternate location after losing its licensed site.
Requesting a Silent STA was CREATIVE FRESNO (KCFZ-LP/FRESNO, site is being sold).
And requesting an extension of its Silent STA was A.W.A.R.E., INC. (KANA-A/ANACONDA, MT, equipment lost due to arson fire; buyer SOUTHWEST MONTANA RADIO LLC plans to repair the damage and return the station to the air once it closes on the deal).
