Catalina Moves To Afternoons, DJ Wizkidd Grabs Nights At WKSL (97.9 Kiss-FM)/Jacksonville

iHEARTMEDIA Top 40 WKSL (97.9 KISS-FM)/JACKSONVILLE PD SKIP KELLY revamps the lineup, introducing former nighttime host CATALINA as the new permanent afternoon drive personality. CATALINA’s first show started with a surprise from MEGHAN TRAINOR, who called in to congratulate her on the promotion and discuss TRAINOR’s upcoming album release.  CATALINA replaces COLT, who recently accepted a position at KDWB/MINNEAPOLIS.

Also starting today is DJ WIZKIDD, who will be taking over the night shift. WIZKIDD had previously been doing weekends on KISS, as well as iHEART sister-station Urban WJBT.

“CATALINA and WIZKIDD have absolutely earned this,” KELLY said of his new team, “I hate to lose a talent like COLT, but couldn’t possibly be happier with our new lineup.”
