CRTC OKs Rogers Request To Offer Sat Radio Via Digital Cable

The CRTC has granted ROGERS CABLE its request to offer SIRIUS CANADA and XM CANADA satellite radio as part of its ROGERS DIGITAL cable package in three provinces. ROGERS systems in ONTARIO, NEW BRUNSWICK, and NEWFOUNDLAND-LABRADOR will be able to offer either or both of the satellite systems' channels under the ruling. The CRTC previously rejected a similar application by satellite TV systems BELL EXPRESSVU and STAR CHOICE.
