Adds 2 New Awards For 25th Anniversary
The SONY RADIO ACADEMY AWARDS will include two new categories for its 2007 edition: the Internet Programme Award and The Lifetime Achievement Award. The Lifetime Achievement Award is intended to honor a radio broadcaster whose work has been primarily local or regional rather than nationwide. The academy is also distributing a podcast with highlights of the past 25 years of honorees.
The annual UK radio competition is presently accepting entries, which are due by JANUARY 17. Find out more at radioawards.org.
