Steph Peters Leaving KSON/San Diego as Producer For 'John And Tammy'

ENTERCOM Country KSON/SAN DIEGO "JOHN AND TAMMY IN THE MORNING" producer STEPH PETERS is leaving the show to move back to WISCONSIN, telling ALL ACCESS, "I had to make the super bittersweet decision to move back to family in WISCONSIN, to watch my three babies grow up with their grandparents and cousins." PETERS' final day with the show was today (5/1). She made the move to KSON with morning hosts JOHN FLINT and TAMMY LEE in 2011 (NET NEWS 6/11/11). The trio had worked together for 10 years, beginning at iHEARTMEDIA WMAD/MADISON, WI prior to their move WEST. Send your best wishes to PETERS here.

Commenting on PETERS' final day, FLINT posted on his FACEBOOK page, "She's the best person I know ... If you ever are fortunate to meet someone who is as kind as they are smart, as funny as they are tough, and as sweet as they are sassy ... then all I can say is cherish them before they movie back to WISCONSIN and crush your heart." Moving forward, KSON secondary morning producer JESSICA CHENOWETH will succeed PETERS in handling Producer duties for "JOHN AND TAMMY."
