The arrival of CNN reporter TANZINA VEGA as the new host of PUBLIC RADIO INTERNATIONAL (PRI) and NEW YORK PUBLIC RADIO News-Talk WNYC-A-F/NEW YORK's "THE TAKEAWAY" TODAY (5/7) (NET NEWS 3/27) isn't the only new thing at the syndicated show, as THE COOK POLITICAL REPORT National Editor and former ABC NEWS Political Director AMY WALTER has been named the show's new FRIDAY host.

WALTER will take over the FRIDAY edition of "THE TAKEAWAY" on JUNE 1st.
