91X/San Diego Rolls Out X-Fest 2018 Lineup

LOCAL MEDIA SAN DIEGO Alternative XETRA-F (91X)/SAN DIEGO celebrates 35 years of 91X with "X-FEST 2018" on SATURDAY, AUGUST 11th at SDCCU STADIUM in MISSION VALLEY with 10 bands on 2 stages featuring BECK, DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE, THE STRUTS, JOYWAVE, TWIN SHADOW, MEG MYERS, MOON TAXI, TEENAGE WRIST, MANSIONAIR, and THE REGRETTES.

“To celebrate 35 years of 91X, we chose to curate an artist lineup for X-FEST 2018 that honors the past, lives in the present and looks to the future," said 91X PD GARETT MICHAELS.  "BECK has been a constant presence on 91X since 1993 and DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE since 2003, while both continue to create vital and exciting music today.  As SAN DIEGO’s new music discovery destination X-FEST is loaded with newer artists we are really excited about. All of this on a huge grass lawn in the heart of SAN DIEGO in AUGUST.  We can’t wait!”

Tickets go on sale FRIDAY, MAY 11th at 10a.  One dollar of every ticket sold will be donated to the INSPIRED BY MUSIC fund grant program operated by the SAN DIEGO COUNTY OFFICE OF EDUCATION.  X-FEST 2018 is produced by 91X and GOLDENVOICE.  Additional details on the concert can be found at www.91x.com.
