COUNTRY RADIO BROADCASTERS (CRB) will present STEVE WARINER with its 2018 Artist Career Achievement Award, and EMMIS/NEW YORK SVP/Market Manager CHARLIE MORGAN is the organization’s 2018 President’s Award honoree. Both awards will be presented during the COUNTRY RADIO HALL OF FAME (CRHOF) Dinner and Awards ceremony on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 20th at 7p (CT) at the MARRIOTT NASHVILLE (NET NEWS 4/23).

WARINER's career accolades include 14 #1 hits, over 30 Top 10 hits, three RIAA GOLD certified albums, four GRAMMY AWARDS, three CMA AWARDS, one ACM AWARD, 15 BMI MILLION-AIR AWARDS, and more. WARINER is twenty albums deep into a five-decade career and is a member of the KENTUCKY MUSIC HALL OF FAME, the NATIONAL THUMBPICKERS HALL OF FAME, and the MUSIC CITY WALK OF FAME, and is one of only five guitar players in the world to be given the "CERTIFIED GUITAR PLAYER" (CGP) award by CHET ATKINS.

MORGAN, in addition to his role with EMMIS/NEW YORK, has supervisory responsibilities for EMMIS/INDIANAPOLIS. He has over 35 years of radio experience in roles ranging from morning host to SVP/Market Manager. Additionally, MORGAN formed the RITH GROUP in 2013, a marketing consulting agency with longtime associate BOB RICHARDS. MORGAN has received myriad of professional honors an awards, including COUNTRY AIRCHECK/COUNTRY RADIO BROADCASTER awards; RADIO WAYNE AWARD; CMA Large Market Personality Of The Year; and multiple CMA, ACM, and MARCONI Station Of The Year Awards. MORGAN has also served the industry as COUNTRY RADIO BROADCASTERS Pres./Board and is a current Board Member of the CMA, the NEW YORK MARKET RADIO GROUP, and the NEW YORK STATE BROADCAST ASSOCIATION.

The COUNTRY RADIO HALL OF FAME event will also honor the “Class of 2018” radio inductees that were announced during CRS 2018. Seven radio personalities and two off-air broadcasters will enter the COUNTRY RADIO HALL OF FAME (CRHOF) in 2018, including MICHAEL O'MALLEY; LISA MCKAY; ANDY & ALISON; BILL BARRETT, TIM FOX, and TRACY BERRY; and STEVE HARMON and SCOTT EVANS (NET NEWS 2/5).
