WFDF/Detroit Host David Alexander Bullock Exits To Manage Shri Thanedar Gubernatorial Campaign

ADELL News-Talk WFDF-A (910AM SUPERSTATION)/DETROIT host Rev. DAVID ALEXANDER BULLOCK has joined the campaign of MICHIGAN gubernatorial hopeful SHRI THANEDAR as Campaign Manager.  As a result, the station has dropped BULLOCK from its schedule.BULLOCK, Pastor of the GREATER ST MATTHEW BAPTIST CHURCH in HIGHLAND PARK, MI and a past President of OPERATION PUSH's DETROIT chapter and the HIGHLAND PARK chapter of the NAACP, had been hosting weekdays 9-11a (ET) on the station.

The move comes after another host on the station, STEVE NEAVLING, leveled accusations against BULLOCK that the latter had been paid by THANEDAR for promotion on BULLOCK's show, a charge that THANEDAR denied while allowing that BULLOCK had been working as an advisor for the campaign. The DETROIT NEWS reports that THANEDAR appeared on BULLOCK's show on MAY 8th but the host did not disclose his relationship to the campaign on the air, although he wore a THANEDAR shirt visible on the show's streaming video feed.
