Bob Fuss, Longtime CBS Radio News Capitol Hill Correspondent, Dies At 64

BOB FUSS, the longtime radio newsman best known for his tenure as CAPITOL HILL correspondent for CBS RADIO NEWS from 1998 through his 2014 retirement, has passed away of a rare form of leukemia at his FALLS CHURCH, VA home on SUNDAY (5/27) at 64.
After beginning his career on STANFORD UNIVERSITY's KZSU/STANFORD, CA, FUSS worked for UPI in NEW YORK, DALLAS, and, as Bureau Chief, in LOS ANGELES in 1974-1991 until moving to MUTUAL BROADCASTING SYSTEM and NBC RADIO as CAPITOL HILL correspondent, then joined CBS for the same duties in 1998. FUSS, who was honored by the RADIO-TV CORRESPONDENTS ASSOCIATION with its Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015, also wrote an autobiography, "Kidnapped by Nuns and Other Stories of a Life on the Radio," after his retirement.
