WAXQ (Q 104.3)/New York's Shelli Sonstein Climbs For Fallen Heroes

iHEARTMEDIA Classic Rock WAXQ (Q 104.3)/NEW YORK morning co-host SHELLI SONSTEIN will be taking her support of NEW YORK area First Responders to new heights when she participates in the 4th Annual STEPHEN SILLER TUNNEL TO TOWERS TOWER CLIMB on JUNE 3rd.

SONSTEIN will be climbing the full 104 flights of ONE WORLD TRADE CENTER in support of the STEPHEN SILLER TUNNEL TO TOWERS FOUNDATION’s mission to honor the sacrifice of firefighter STEPHEN SILLER. The off duty FDNY’er was in BROOKLYN about to play golf with his brothers when the first plane hit The Twin Towers. In full 65 pound fire gear, he ran through the closed to traffic BROOKLYN BATTERY TUNNEL to the WTC where he perished with other FDNY brothers. 

In addition to supporting firefighters, the Foundation provides valuable assistance to families of first responders, police officers, and military personnel, including paying mortgages and other expenses of heroes killed in the line of duty, thereby lessening the incredible burden on their loved ones.
