Third Annual Gathering On The Whiskey Trail Boasts 21 Artist Showcases

The complete lineup for the Third Annual "GATHERING ON THE WHISKEY TRAIL," a showcase platform for new and developing Alternative bands in LOUISVILLE has been announced for next WEDNESDAY, JUNE 13th-FRIDAY, JUNE 15th, presented by AMPLIFY ENTERTAINMENT GROUP.  

THE 2018 GATHERING kicks off on WEDNESDAY (6/13) afternoon with an EAST COAST/WEST COAST SOFTBALL rivalry!  This is a serious game for (mostly) unserious players.  Moving into the evening, things really start to heat up at the legendary CHURCHILL DOWNS RACETRACK with performances by INTERSCOPE’s MiKKY EKKO, PARTS & LABOR’s M.RIVERS and 300’s MEG MYERS.  But it doesn’t stop there!  WEDNESDAY’s LATE NIGHT LOUNGE at THE BROWN HOTEL features RED BULL’s ALBERT HAMMOND JR. and GLASSNOTE’s MANSIONAIR.

On THURSDAY (6/14), CONCORD RECORDS presents CASTLECOMER and BRIGHT ANTENNA brings MONA for lunch at LOUISVILLE’s famous underground city, THE MEGA CAVERNS.  THURSDAY night, everyone will gather at the traditional distillery JEPTHA CREED where the face-melting starts with independent artists SILENT RIVAL, NEW WEST’s NAKED GIANTS and CAROLINE ROSE, ISLAND’s AMERICAN AUTHORS and REPUBLIC’s MONDO COZMO.  The THURSDAY late night lounge at THE BROWN HOTEL, sponsored by ATLANTIC and FUELED BY RAMEN, features performances from FUELED BY RAMEN’s GRANDSON and ATLANTIC’s THE WALLOWS.

On FRIDAY (6/15), THE GATHERING heads to BARDSTOWN, KENTUCKY for lunch, libations, and live performances by WARNER BROTHER’s FAMILY OF THE YEAR.  Followed, later in the day, by THE HOT BROWN DINNER at THE BROWN HOTEL with BRIGHT ANTENNA’s FLAGSHIP. FRIDAY night at THE MERCURY LOUNGE will feature live showcases by independent CULTURE WARS, THIRTY TIGER’s RUEN BROTHERS, RED MUSIC’s KITTEN, BIG PICNIC’s EVERYTHING EVERYTHING and METRIC INTERNATIONAL’s METRIC headlining.
