FCC Upholds Fines For High RF Levels At Three L.A. Stations

The FCC rejects the appeals of CBS Oldies KRTH (K-EARTH 101), RADIO ONE Urban AC KKBT (THE BEAT 100.3), and NBC-TELEMUNDO's KWHY-TV/LOS ANGELES of their respective $10,000 fines for excessive RF levels at the MOUNT WILSON transmitter site above LOS ANGELES.

In addition, the Commission fines AMERICOM's KZTQ/CARSON CITY-RENO $10,000 for excessive RF levels at its MCCLELLAN PEAK transmitter site and for failure to prevent the public from accessing the areas of excessive RF levels.
