SIRIUSXM has petitioned an OREGON state court to remove another lawsuit filed against it by a customer over "lifetime subscriptions" to federal court.
RANDALL BETTISON filed the self-styled "class action" in OREGON Circuit Court for MULTNOMAH COUNTY, alleging that the limit on the number of transfers of the subscription and the $75 per-transfer fee violated the promise of the lifetime subscription. SIRIUSXM is asking for removal of the case to U.S. District Court in OREGON, PORTLAND Division.
SIRIUSXM removed a NEW JERSEY case brought by DARLENE VAUGH over the same issues from state to federal court earlier this month (NET NEWS 6/8).
