KUFO Launches 8th Annual Rock-A-Thon For Kids

CBS Active Rocker KUFO/PORTLAND, OR launches its 8TH ANNUAL ROCK-A-THON FOR KIDS today from 10a-midnight. KUFO will ask for donations for airplay to benefit THE PERRY CENTER FOR CHILDREN, which cares for children suffering from mental illness and their families. KUFO's past contributions to this cause have already raised $280,000. An auction will go on simultaneously where listeners can bid on rock memorabilia including a cymbal signed by members of TOOL and autographed guitars from KORN, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS and JET.
