WQSL/WQZL/Greenville-New Bern-Jacksonville, NC, Flips From Country To Adult Hits

DICK BROADCASTING COMPANY (DBC)/GREENVILLE-NEW BERN-JACKSONVILLE, NC has flipped its Country WQSL (NEW COUNTRY 92.3) and Country WQZL (101.1 THE WOLF) to Adult Hits as "THE RIVER." The new station will launch with a library of over 1,100 titles featuring hits from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and beyond, including artists like ELTON JOHN, FLEETWOOD MAC, PRINCE, BON JOVI, GREEN DAY, GOO GOO DOLLS, MEATLOAF, WILD CHERRY, and others. Previous WQSL/WQZL morning show, "THE BOBBY BONES SHOW," is set to make the move to Country sister WRNS, effective MONDAY, JULY 9th (NET NEWS 7/2).
