Marfa Public Radio Launches 'West Texas Wonders' Listener-Driven Journalism Initiative

MARFA PUBLIC RADIO CORP. Variety KRTS (MARFA PUBLIC RADIO)/MARFA, TX has launched a new journalism initiative to give listeners a chance to suggest stories for the station to investigate.

"WEST TEXAS Wonders," created using the HEARKEN online audience engagement platform, is taking questions from listeners and then holding voting rounds on what stories listeners want to hear covered; a station reporter will work with those whose topics are selected to find the answers and report them on-air and online.
