Charlamagne Tha God’s 2001 Court Decision Will Not Be Reopened

PREMIERE NETWORKS syndicated BREAKFAST CLUB/WWPR (POWER 105.1)/NEW YORK co-host CHARLAMAGNE THA GOD, has received attention over a rape allegation from 17 years ago when he worked at a station in SOUTH CAROLINA.  The victim is saying the courts decision never gave her closure and wants the case reopened, reports BILLBOARD.

Upon investigation in 2001, the charges were reduced to the lesser charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and in a plea agreement, CHARLAMAGNE was given three years’ probation.

The court has issued a statement that the case will not be reopened.
