Puerto Rico FM Gets License Reinstated

V.I. STEREO COMMUNICATIONS CORP. wins reinstatement of its license for WVIS/VIEQUES, PR, as the FCC rules that its staff decision deleting the station's license and call letters for failure to broadcast for 12 consecutive months was correct at the time but that new legislation making forfeiture under that rule reversible for reasons of equity and fairness mean that the license can be reinstated. The station is being moved from CHRISTIANSTED, ST. CROIX, VI.
