Classes have begun at the 2nd Annual MBA RADIO TALENT INSTITUTE, held on the campus of NORTHWEST MISSOURI STATE UNIVERSITY in MARYSVILLE, MO. The MISSOURI BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION (MBA) and eight broadcast groups are bringing together up-and-coming broadcasters from 11 different universities.
"We are pleased to bring this program, taught by industry professionals, to MISSOURI, which will help fill job openings at broadcast stations with quality employees who have a true understanding of how fun and rewarding a career in our industry can be," MBA Pres. MARK GORDON said. .
"To have so many students from so many different universities is a tribute to Mark and the MBA and their efforts as we work together to discover and prepare young talent for the industry," NATIONAL RADIO TALENT SYSTEM Founder/Pres. DAN VALLIE said. "These are the talent we will be hiring now and will be the leaders in our industry tomorrow."
