ABC Announces Two New RADAR Networks

ABC RADIO NETWORKS adds two new RADAR-measured networks for ad sales targeted to younger-skewing females and major-market audiences. The two new networks, ABC FEMALE CONNECTION (women 18-49 and 25-54) and ABC SELECT MARKET (Top 10, 25, and 50 DMAs) are being derived from the realignment of the ABC FM CONNECTION NETWORK and will debut with RADAR 92, to be released on MARCH 26, 2007. ABC FM CONNECTION continues alongside the new network alignments.
"ABC FEMALE CONNECTION and ABC SELECT MARKET open up fantastic opportunities for our advertisers," ABC RADIO NETWORKS Sr. VP/Ad Sales MIKE CONNOLLY said. "Network radio clients are asking for more vehicles that are clearly defined, with narrowly focused targets. This realignment is in sync with our continued strategy of delivering clients cherry-picked audiences that result in greater efficiencies for them and higher return on investment."
