PREMIERE NETWORKS' RUSH LIMBAUGH celebrated his 30th anniversary in national radio syndication TODAY (8/1).
On his show TODAY, LIMBAUGH played clips from his career, dating back to his DJ days at WIXZ-A/PITTSBURGH in 1971, and took congratulatory calls from listeners, including President DONALD J. TRUMP, who called LIMBAUGH "a very special man" and added, "What you do for this country, people have no idea how important your voice is ... I just want to congratulate you. Thirty years in that tough business is incredible -- and you’re stronger now than ever before."
LIMBAUGH went into national syndication through ED MCLAUGHLIN's EFM MEDIA (dubbed the "EIB NETWORK -- EXCELLENCE IN BROADCASTING" on the air by LIMBAUGH) on 56 stations on AUGUST 1st, 1988.
