Condolences to family and friends of longtime NASHVILLE radio News Director and TENNESSEE RADIO HALL OF FAME member DAVID TOWER, who died JULY 28th.
TOWER (real name DAVID MILSTEAD), who was known for his distinctive PAUL HARVEY-esque signoff with a long pause ("This is... DAVID POWER"), worked at WMAK-A (1979-79), WLAC-A (1979-82), and WYHY (Y107, 1989-92)/NASHVILLE and was inducted into the TENNESSEE RADIO HALL OF FAME early this year. More recently, TOWER worked in the real estate field.
A celebration of life for TOWER's friends is scheduled for next THURSDAY (8/9) at 6p at 2349 Brittany Drive, EAST NASHVILLE.
