Programming veteran PERRY STONE has been named OM at MID-WEST FAMILY/LONG NINE News-Talk WMAY-A-W234CC and Active Rock WQLZ/SPRINGFIELD, IL and afternoon host at WQLZ.  STONE will hit the air at WQLZ on AUGUST 13th.

STONE was most recently at SAGA News-Talk WINA-A-W255CT and Classic Rock WWWV (3WV)/CHARLOTTESVILLE, where he served as OM and WWWV afternoon host.  He has also worked in several markets nationwide, including stints at WAPP/NEW YORK, KSJO/SAN JOSE, CUMULUS/FAYETTEVILLE, and many more.
