Now Official: Kurt Warner Named Westwood One Sports' Monday Night Football/Super Bowl Analyst

The news got out a couple of days ahead of the official announcement (NET NEWS 8/7), but WESTWOOD ONE SPORTS has made it official with a release touting the naming of Hall of Fame quarterback KURT WARNER as BOOMER ESIASON's replacement in the analyst's chair for the syndicator's MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL and SUPER BOWL broadcasts alongside KEVIN HARLAN.  WARNER, a fill-in for ESIASON in recent years and a commentator on NFL NETWORK after a career with one SUPER BOWL championship, four PRO BOWL appearances, and two AP MVP awards, will officially take over on SEPTEMBER 10th, with the OAKLAND RAIDERS hosting the LOS ANGELES RAMS.

“Since retiring from the NFL I have been blessed with tremendous opportunities as a broadcaster,” said WARNER. “I have especially enjoyed working at NFL NETWORK on NFL GAMEDAY morning and my color-analyst role on radio for WESTWOOD ONE.
