CRB Announces New Faces

The COUNTRY RADIO BROADCASTERS (CRB) held a press conference this morning (12/5) in NASHVILLE to announce, among other things, the performers for the 2007 NEW FACES SHOW at CRS. The talented artists performing are MIRANDA LAMBERT, TAYLOR SWIFT, JACK INGRAM, RODNEY ATKINS and ERIC CHURCH. The NEW FACES DINNER and SHOW will be held on FRIDAY, MARCH 2 at the NASHVILLE CONVENTION CENTER. It was also announced that KIX BROOKS will take over as host of the show, replacing longtime host CHARLIE MONK.
RONNIE MILSAP was will be the featured artist at the LIFE OF A LEGEND event that is held during the convention on THURSDAY, MARCH 1. Country WSM-A/NASHVILLE air talent EDDIE STUBBS will conduct the interview. SARAH BUXTON, PAT GREEN and MAC DAVIS are the scheduled performers for the BMI WCRS LIVE show that will be hosted by singer/songwriter JEFFREY STEELE. CAPITOL RECORDS NASHVILLE will host its annual luncheon on FRIDAY, MARCH 2, and entertainment will be provided by TRACE ADKINS and newcomer LUKE BRYAN.
Also announced today were the recipients of the CRB PRESIDENT'S AWARD and the CRB CAREER ACHIEVEMENT AWARD. The honorees will be CHARLIE MONK and KENNY ROGERS, respectively. Those honors will be given out at the COUNTRY MUSIC DJ AND RADIO HALL OF FAME dinner on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 27 in NASHVILLE.
