Thomas Rhett Earns Platinum Status With 'Life Changes' Album

VALORY MUSIC CO.'s THOMAS RHETT has earned RIAA PLATINUM status with his latest album, "Life Changes." The project debuted at #1 across all genres, selling 123,000 equivalent album units in its first week (NET NEWS 9/18/17). The album's title track -- which serves as RHETT's current single -- also earned a GOLD honors.

"I found out 'Life Changes' went PLATINUM, and the single was GOLD, the same day I got to play NISSAN STADIUM at home in NASHVILLE, so that was a really special moment for me," noted RHETT. "When you put out something so personal to you, you always wonder if other people will be able to relate. I just write what I know. It turns out that we all know love, family, and experience the ups and downs of life. The best thing about music is that it becomes such a unifying force; we get to experience it all together."
