Cumulus Tells SEC Its Quarterly Financial Report Will Be Late

CUMULUS MEDIA INC. has notified the SEC that it will file its second quarter Quarterly Report late. 

The filing said that the company, which emerged from bankruptcy in early JUNE, expects to file the Form 10-Q financial report on or before MONDAY (8/20) and blamed the time and attention required from the management during the company's Chapter 11 case and the need to prepare complex financial statements based on “fresh start” accounting rules for the delay.
