CHARLY BUTCHER, the longtime morning host at FEDERATED MEDIA News-Talk WOWO-A-W298BJ/FORT WAYNE, died WEDNESDAY afternoon (8/15) of an apparent cardiac event.  He was 61.

BUTCHER hosted mornings in FORT WAYNE for 35 years, hosting at sister WMEE for 20 years before moving into the morning slot at WOWO in 2003.
