TOWNSQUARE MEDIA Classic Country KKTL-A (AM 1400 THE COWBOY)/CASPER, WY will not air high school football this season, reports the CASPER STAR-TRIBUNE.
The station decided to drop the coverage after flipping from Sports after last season. OM DONOVAN SHORT told the paper that the cluster is focusing its prep sports coverage on its WYOPREPS.COM website but is restricted in what streaming it can offer due to the state high school athletic organization's exclusive pay-per-view streaming contract with the NATIONAL FEDERATION OF STATE HIGH SCHOOL ASSOCIATIONS. KKTL's move leaves CASPER as the only city in WYOMING with Class 4A high schools where high school football is not on the radio.
