MINNESOTA PUBLIC RADIO Triple A KCMP (THE CURRENT)/MINNEAPOLIS has launched a new podcast delivering the day’s music news headlines.  Called THE CURRENT MUSIC NEWS, it will bring music fans a daily dose of essential updates for all genres.  The 10-minute episodes will be co-hosted by THE CURRENT’s JADE and JAY GABLER.

“This is our way of giving the listeners a way to know the music news worth talking about in a quick, digestible, and hopefully fun, way,” said Jade.  “We throw out a new episode of MUSIC NEWS every weekday.”

GABLER said, “We know people want to stay on top of what’s happening with the artists they love, and even the artists they love to hate. Our podcast will bring them up to speed with top headlines, audio clips, and two hosts with hot takes.”

MUSIC NEWS is the first daily hosted podcast by THE CURRENT.  Listeners can subscribe via their preferred podcast platforms or stream it online at thecurrent.org/musicnews.
