Ryen Russillo To Join Bill Simmons' The Ringer Podcast Network, Will Continue ESPN Podcast

Former ESPN RADIO host RYEN RUSSILLO's next career move has been the subject of much speculation, including a possible renewal with ESPN, but THE WRAP is reporting that RUSSILLO is joining BILL SIMMONS' THE RINGER PODCAST NETWORK for a new weekly football podcast and regular appearances on SIMMONS' own flagship podcast. RUSSILLO will also be staying with ESPN for his podcast and other appearances, the host disclosed in a tweet later FRIDAY.
The entertainment trade site reports that RUSSILLO's "DUAL THREAT" podcast, covering both NFL and college football, will debut on WEDNESDAY (8/29). In addition, after SUPER BOWL LIII, RUSSILLO will join "THE BILL SIMMONS PODCAST" on MONDAYS for 22 weeks to talk NBA basketball through the NBA Finals.
Later FRIDAY, RUSSILLO added in a tweet that he will continue “THE RUSSILLO SHOW” podcast for ESPN AUDIO and other appearances on ESPN,and has also signed a deal to write for a television show pilot.
RUSSILLO left ESPN in DECEMBER but has continued to make appearances on the network. He hosted several shows on ESPN RADIO, most recently a solo show but previously as co-host with SCOTT VAN PELT and DANNY KANELL. He has guested on SIMMONS' podcast several times this year.
