Report: John Gallagher Named Dir./Sales At WGN/Chicago

CHICAGO radio sales and management veteran JOHN GALLAGHER has joined TRIBUNE News-Talk WGN-A/CHICAGO as Dir./Sales, reports ROBERTFEDER.COM.  GALLAGHER fills the position left vacant when JEFF HILL exited to join the crosstown CUMULUS cluster as VP/Sales.

GALLAGHER, most recently VP/Market Manager at HUBBARD's CHICAGO cluster in 2014-16, previously served as Regional VP/Market Manager for CUMULUS in GREEN BAY-APPLETON-OSHKOSH, Pres./GM of News-Talk WLS-A/CHICAGO, Market Manager for GREATER MEDIA/DETROIT, and GM at CUMULUS/TOLEDO and KANSAS CITY. He started at WJR-A/DETROIT, where he rose from Business Manager, NSM, and GSM to Dir./Sales at WJR and WDVD.
