It started with MORGAN MURPHY Top 40 KZZU/SPOKANE MD BROOKE FOX and CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 KKRZ/PORTLAND MD MAYNARD playing the radio version of “Trading Spaces” a couple weeks ago. After settling in as PD at Top 40 KZZU and sister Hot Adult KEZE, MAYNARD flipped KEZE to Rhythm as WIRED 96.9 … BLAZIN’ TODAY’S HOTTEST MUSIC installing himself, temporarily, in afternoons. Not quite finished, he then instructed long-time morning show hosts DAVE, KEN, and MOLLY to get back to where they once belonged, hosting mornings for … drum roll please: THE NEW 92.9 ‘ZZU … MODERN HIT MUSIC.
Bursting with excitement, the first time PD told ALL ACCESS, “Creating and executing two stations simultaneously is an awesome responsibility and this company has made sure we have all the tools to win. From contesting to marketing and staffing, they’ve spared no expense and are committed to staying atop the SPOKANE radio market.”
In a move not seen nearly enough these days, the staffers at KEZE are staying, and being reassigned within the station, while an announcement regarding new morning and afternoon hosts is expected shortly. Even at KZZU, it’s a simple matter of changing shifts, as seen below in the new on air line up:
Mornings: DAVE, KEN & MOLLY
Middays: RONNIE BLACKWOOD
Afternoons: TANYA TYLER
Nights: DANIRhythm product is needed, at WIRED 96.9 as they begin stocking up the on air library. Contact the station at (509) 323-9393. Mailing address is 500 W. Boone, SPOKANE, WA 99201.
