BEASLEY BROADCAST GROUP's Classic Rock WMGK/PHILADELPHIA is featuring an “I Want My MGK Weekend” beginning FRIDAY, AUGUST 31st thru MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 3rd featuring rock songs by artists from the '80s, including THE POLICE, BILLY IDOL, DIRE STRAITS, SPRINGSTEEN, PETER GABRIEL and more.

Current WMGK on-air personalities will also share photos from their own personal collections 
from the decade for listeners to check out on the station’s website and social media.

"It’s a fun way to present a long weekend centered on the 80’s" said WMGK PD BILL WESTON. "We will celebrate those artists who were all over our TV’s at the turn of the decade, including PETER GABRIEL, POLICE, THE FIXX and PAT BENATAR, as well as the one hit wonders with funky haircuts and acid washed jean jackets."
