Actions Helped Abused Boy

An 11-year-old boy walked into the COLUMBIA, KY studios of SHORELINE COMMUNICATIONS AC WHVE (92.7 THE WAVE)/RUSSELL SPRINGS, KY and said that he was running away from his family because he and his siblings were being abused. A police investigation of the claim resulted in the arrest of a woman in whose care the children had been placed.

The alleged abuse, which took place over a six-year period, included denial of food for several days at a time as well as physical beatings. TERRI BOSCHEE has been indicted on the abuse charges and is free on bond pending arraignment next TUESDAY (12/12), while the children have been placed in another relative's care.
