ESPN Radio Sets Show Tours, Weekend Lineup Changes For Football Season

ESPN RADIO is embarking on the football season this weekend with a full slate of college and NFL broadcasts, and, next week, will launch MIKE GOLIC and TREY WINGO on the morning show's annual FALL Football Tour, broadcasting live from the locations of some of the season's big games.
The trip starts on SEPTEMBER 7th in GREEN BAY before the PACKERS host their traditional rivals, the CHICAGO BEARS, followed by a trip to PHILADELPHIA on SEPTEMBER 21st for some crab fries at CHICKIE'S AND PETE'S before the INDIANAPOLIS COLTS visit the EAGLES. After a stop at the NAB and RAB's RADIO SHOW in ORLANDO on SEPTEMBER 27th, GOLIC & WINGO will air from COLUMBUS, OH on OCTOBER 5th in advance of INDIANA-OHIO STATE. Also scheduled are a trip to the CHICAGO area on OCTOBER 12th to both preview PITT-NOTRE DAME and celebrate ESPN Sports WMVP-A (ESPN 1000)/CHICAGO's 20th anniversary, and a jaunt to BATON ROUGE on NOVEMBER 1st before ALABAMA takes on LSU. Also on tap for "GOLIC & WINGO" during the season will be weekly appearances by JASON WITTEN, JOE THOMAS, TOM WADDLE, CHRIS CANTY, and TEDY BRUSCHI.
ESPN RADIO's NFL broadcasts begin on SEPTEMBER 9th with a doubleheader featuring JACKSONVILLE at the NEW YORK GIANTS and SEATTLE at DENVER. ADAM AMIN and MARC KESTECHER will handle play-by-play and BILL POLIAN, CHRIS CANTY, BROCK HUARD, and SHAUN O'HARA will serve as analysts.
On the college side, besides the network's 23 game play-by-play schedule, the radio version of "COLLEGE GAMEDAY" will be back, hosted by MATT SCHICK with BRAD EDWARDS and TREVOR MATICH as analysts. The show will air from six stops this season, including SOUTH BEND on SEPTEMBER 1st, ARLINGTON, TX on SEPTEMBER 15th, TALLAHASSEE on OCTOBER 27th, BATON ROUGE on NOVEMBER 3rd, NORMAN, OK on NOVEMBER 10th, and a location to be named later on a date yet to be determined.
Finally, the network's weekend schedule is sporting some changes for the football season, including the return of the aforementioned "COLLEGE GAMEDAY" and the addition of "FOOTBALL FRENZY" for 5p (ET) SUNDAYS, hosted by former "THE BACHELORETTE" star RACHEL LINDSAY with BOBBY CARPENTER and FIELD YATES. SUNDAY football shows will incluse MATT JONES, MYRON MEDCALF and DAN ORLOVSKY's "COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF" at 10a and "OPERATION FOOTBALL" with RANDY SCOTT, YATES, and ANDREW HAWKINS at 1p.
