WGHL (G105.1)/Louisville Becomes Alternative 'ALT 105.1'

ALPHA MEDIA has flipped Urban Oldies WGHL (G105.1)/LOUISVILLE to Alternative "ALT 105.1." The switch actually occurred on AUGUST 31st.

“Alternative Rock is an explosive growth format and ALT 105.1 is a perfect fit in our group of stations in LOUISVILLE," ALPHA MEDIA EVP/Content SCOTT MAHALICK said. "ALT LOUISVILLE marks the return of contemporary Rock to LOUISVILLE on 105.1 FM.”

“Alternative Rock is now in LOUISVILLE and I couldn't be more excited as we also strengthen our cluster with the ability to add throwbacks to our Urban A/C, MAGIC 101.3," added ALPHA MEDIA/LOUISVILLE SVP/Market Manager STEVE BEARANCE.
