ENTERCOM Sports WIP/PHILADELPHIA raised $201,632 in its 2018 EAGLES Radiothon for the PHILADELPHIA EAGLES' EAGLES CHARITABLE FOUNDATION. The event, with an auction and on air fundraising, was held last THURSDAY (8/30) through YESTERDAY (9/5) and will help the SUPER BOWL champions' charity increase access to vision care and fund autism research.
“It was an honor to have been a part of this incredible initiative for the 19th straight year and to have a hand in making a difference in our local community,” said ENTERCOM PHILADELPHIA SVP/Market Manager DAVID YADGAROFF. “Every dollar counts when it pertains to making a difference in the lives of others, and I’m particularly proud of our generous listeners who helped us reach this goal.”
“We are beyond grateful for the overwhelming support our community has shown, once again, for the EAGLES Radiothon,” said EAGLES CHARITABLE FOUNDATION/EAGLES Social Responsibility President CHRISTINA WEISS LURIE. “As a result of everyone’s generosity and commitment, we are able to continue impacting the lives of many children in the Greater PHILADELPHIA region through our vision care program and support of autism research and services. We appreciate 94WIP and SANTANDER (BANK, sponsor of the event) for their transformative partnership and thank all of our donors who have helped make this another milestone year for the EAGLES Radiothon.”
“As a longtime supporter of the annual Radiothon, we are proud to serve the PHILADELPHIA community alongside the EAGLES CHARITABLE FOUNDATION and 94WIP to provide accessible vision care and further aid autism research,” said SANTANDER BANK Regional Executive, Commercial Banking DAVE SWOYER. “By continuing to harness the power of community and connect with the children and families within the Greater PHILADELPHIA area, we can we can lend our support to help further develop programs and research for those in need.”
