RIAA Reveals August 2018 Platinum And Gold Honors

The RECORDING INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA (RIAA) has revealed GOLD and PLATINUM awards for AUGUST 2018, with BRETT YOUNG and CHRIS YOUNG celebrating PLATINUM Album status with their projects, "BRETT YOUNG" and "The Man I Want To Be," respectively. JASON ALDEAN's "Rearview Town" also reached GOLD Album status.
Several Country acts were recognized with Multi-PLATINUM Single honors, including LADY ANTEBELLUM earning 9x PLATINUM status with "Need You Now;" HUNTER HAYES 5x with "Wanted;" LUKE COMBS 3x with "Hurricane" and 2x with "When It Rains It Pours;" CAM 2x with "Burning House;" CHRIS JANSON 2x with "Buy Me A Boat;" and TRACE ADKINS 2x with both "You're Gonna Miss This" and "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk." PLATINUM Single honors were bestowed upon BILLY CURRINGTON for "Do I Make You Wanna;" BRETT ELDREDGE for "Mean To Me" and "Lose My Mind;" BRETT YOUNG for "Mercy;" CHRIS YOUNG for "The Man I Want To Be" and "Losing Sleep;" COLE SWINDELL for "Let Me See You Girl;" DAN + SHAY for "Tequila" and "Nothin' Like You;" DEVIN DAWSON for "All On Me;" LEE BRICE for "That Don't Sound Like You;" LUKE COMBS for "One Number Away;" OLD DOMINION for "No Such Thing As A Broken Heart," "Song For Another Time," and "Written In The Sand;" and TRACE ADKINS for "Ladies Love Country Boys."
Additionally, CARRIE UNDERWOOD's "The Champion;" COLE SWINDELL's "Flatliner;" DAVID LEE MURPHY and KENNY CHESNEY's "Everything's Gonna Be Alright;" CHESNEY's "Get Along;" LUKE COMBS' "Beautiful Crazy;" and TRACE ADKINS' "Just Fishin'" all earned GOLD Single honors this month.
