FOX SPORTS RADIO is making changes, with two shows posting farewell messages on social media and on the air.
"STEVE GORMAN SPORTS!" hosts STEVE GORMAN, the BLACK CROWES drummer, and brother JEFFREY told listeners FRIDAY (9/7) that the show is leaving the network after 4-1/2 years, with the hosts deciding to work on other content but insisting that "we'll be back on radio soon enough." STEVE GORMAN said that the move "has been in the works for some time... we walk away from FOX SPORTS RADIO with nothing but love and gratitude."
Also leaving the network is JOHN "JT THE BRICK" TOURNOUR, who tweeted his farewell on FRIDAY as well. JT had been on FSR since 2001.
DAN BEYER and EPHRAIM SALAAM hosted in GORMAN's slot and weekend hosts JONAS KNOX and BRADY QUINN filled in for JT's former 8-11p (ET) show on MONDAY (9/10).
Since 2001, I’ve been proud to work @FoxSportsRadio Thanks to my bosses, co-workers and most importantly the listeners who have made this an incredible chapter in my life. I look forward to the future. Stay tuned.....
