The FCC proposes a $1,500 fine against MVB INC. for a late renewal application for its Regional Mexican WWGC-A (LA DOBLE X)/ALBERTVILLE, AL but grants the station's license renewal. The Commission proposes the same fine-plus-license-renewal deal for COLLEGE WESLEYAN CHURCH for a late license-renewal application at low-power WCWC-LP/MARION, IN.
In the case of CBS RADIO's INFINITY RADIO HOLDINGS INC. and its late-renewal application for translator W272AT/COLUMBUS, OH, the fine is proposed to be $7,000 due to unauthorized operation of the station after its license had expired, but the Commission has granted the translator's license renewal. The licensee says it inadvertently left the translator out when applying for the renewal of the license of Classic Country WHOK/LANCASTER, OH-COLUMBUS, the primary station for the translator. The stations have since been sold to WILKS BROADCASTING.
