KCYE/Las Vegas Celebrates Music Education With 'Coyote Classroom Cover' Video Series

BEASLEY Country KCYE (102.7 THE COYOTE)/LAS VEGAS morning co-hosts JEFF KURKJIAN and AIMEE MONTGOMERY recently collaborated with the students of RALPH CADWALLADER MIDDLE SCHOOL to film a music video featuring the student group singing "Blue Tacoma" by TRIPLE TIGERS RECORDS' RUSSELL DICKERSON. KURKJIAN and MONTGOMERY have launched this as a series entitled "COYOTE CLASSROOM COVER." The first in the series featured CANARELLI MIDDLE SCHOOL singing "She's With Me" by WARNER BROS./WEA's HIGH VALLEY. "I was a huge choir and theater geek growing up, and it breaks my heart that we see schools losing their music programs," KURKJIAN told ALL ACCESS. "It creates such a well-rounded education for a student. Anything we can do as a morning show and local radio station to help, I am down to do!" KURKJIAN and MONTGOMERY have plans to continue this series with local-area schools and have already started on videos for release in OCTOBER and NOVEMBER.
