Former ALPHA MEDIA Triple A KINK/PORTLAND, OR PD/host SEAN DEMERY has passed away. DEMERY had been paralyzed and limited to eye motion communication after suffering a brain stem stroke on JANUARY 20th and passed away on SATURDAY (9/15), according to posts by friends on Facebook and confirmed by the ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION's RODNEY HO.
DEMERY, who had been at KINK since MARCH 2017, was best known as the APD and host in two stints at SUSQUEHANNA/CUMULUS Alternative WNNX (99X)/ATLANTA (and at its predecessor WAPW (POWER 99), and PD at KITS (LIVE 105)/SAN FRANCISCO, morning host at KMTT (THE MOUNTAIN)/SEATTLE, and stints at KGGI/RIVERSIDE-SAN BERNARDINO, KIOY (K104)/FRESNO, KXRK (X96) and KLRZ/SALT LAKE CITY, and WYMS (88NINE RADIO)/MILWAUKEE as well as a consultant and on national formats, including founding the QUICKHITZ edited-song format and at RADIOCENTRAL NETWORKS, kNOW MEDIA GROUP, and INDIELISTS.COM.
