Former WNBA player and GM RUTH RILEY HUNTER will serve as radio analyst and TV studio analyst for the NBA's MIAMI HEAT this season, reports the SOUTH FLORIDA SUN-SENTINEL's IRA WINDERMAN.
RILEY HUNTER, who played for the now-defunct MIAMI SOL, DETROIT SHOCK, SAN ANTONIO SILVER STARS, and CHICAGO SKY and served as the STARS' GM before the franchise relocated to LAS VEGAS as the ACES this season, fills the vacancy left by JOHN CROTTY's move from radio to TV analyst. RILEY HUNTER has also worked as an analyst on NOTRE DAME women's basketball broadcasts.
The HEAT air on a network headed by ENTERCOM Sports WAXY-A (790 THE TICKET)/MIAMI.
