Bill Hess Signs New Multi-Year Deal As Cumulus VP/News-Talk And WMAL/Washington, D.C. PD

CUMULUS MEDIA has signed BILL HESS to a new multi-year contract extension as VP/News-Talk and PD at, WMAL-A-F/WASHINGTON, D.C. HESS is also the OM for the D.C. cluster. His 41-year radio career has spanned positions on-air and in News/Talk programming as PD for stations including WTEM/WASHINGTON, D.C.; WHJJ/PROVIDENCE, RI; and WHYN-A-F/SPRINGFIELD, MA. He was also Brand Manager for CLEAR CHANNEL/iHEARTRADIO and served as SVP/Programming for AIR AMERICA MEDIA. In addition, HESS has programmed music stations including WASH and WBIG/WASHINGTON, D.C.
