The publisher of LONDON's DAILY TELEGRAPH and SUNDAY TELEGRAPH plans to launch a new national Talk radio station in the UK, reports BRAND REPUBLIC.
The publication reports that the TELEGRAPH GROUP has registered the name "TELEGRAPH TALK" and will bid on the new second national digital radio multiplex and will also seek to expand the service via cell phone and Internet streaming. The TELEGRAPH will likely be bidding against a consortium formed by UBC, UTV, and CHANNEL 4 for the multiplex.
