ALPHA MEDIA is selling its WEST PALM BEACH cluster to HUBBARD RADIO for an undisclosed price. The deal, yet to be completed with no definitive sales contract in place and no price disclosed, would send Country WIRK/INDIANTOWN, AC WRMF/PALM BEACH, Sports WMEN-A (640 THE HURRICANE)/ROYAL PALM BEACH, News-Talk WFTL-A and Classic Hits WEAT (SUNNY 107.9)/WEST PALM BEACH, and Urban AC WMBX (X102.3)/JENSEN BEACH to HUBBARD.
ALPHA purchased the cluster as part of its purchase of DIGITY LLC in FEBRUARY 2016.
In transactions filed with the FCC, COUNTY BROADCASTING COMPANY, LLC is selling Oldies WFAT-A/ORANGE-ATHOL, MA and W222CH/GREENFIELD, MA to SAGA COMMUNICATIONS OF NEW ENGLAND, LLC for $210,000.
JABELLA BROADCASTING NETWORK, INC. is selling Spanish noncommercial KPIT (LA CAMPEONA)/PITTSBURG, TX to HOLDSWORTH EDUCATIONAL MEDIA, INC. for $25,000.
TEPEYAC MISSION, INC. is donating low power WPBV-LP/PALM BEACH, FL to WPBV-LP, INC. as a gift.
Applying for STAs were EUROPA COMMUNICATIONS, INC. (W275AB/ELMIRA, NY, varying power levels to test mitigation of interference to MARS HILL Religion WMHR/SYRACUSE); EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION (Contemporary Christian KLWV (K-LOVE)/CHUGWATER, WY, reduced power due to antenna and line damage); TRUTH BROADCASTING CORPORATION (Religion WTRU-A (THE TRUTH)/KERNERSVILLE, NC, reduced power due to technical problem);
EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION has requested an extension of its Silent STA for WCAD/SAN JUAN while it works to return the station and its boosters back on the air at a new site.
PETER STEBBINS has refiled to obtain a Silent STA for low power WMIV-LP/MIAMI while it moves to a new location due to a lost lease. The move was originally filed last week as an STA request.
