NEXTMEDIA OPERATING INC Pres./COO JEFF DINETZ announced today that HARVE ALAN has been named the new VP/Programming for NEXTMEDIA. HARVE will be leaving his position as EVP at MERCURY RADIO RESEARCH.
"HARVE follows in a great line (DON PARKER and STEVE DAVIS) of highly respected programmers to join our company," said DINETZ. "He brings a wealth of experience, having previously served as VP/Programming for both CAPSTAR and the ABC RRADIO NETWORKS. He most recently worked for MERCURY RADIO RESEARCH and has a strong handle on the new media arena. HARVE shares our vision of being a radio organization that thrives on creative content and its strong ties to local communities."
HARVE commented, "I am thrilled to be joining the NEXTMEDIA team. I want to thank JEFF DINETZ and STEVEN DINETZ for this outstanding opportunity and for their confidence in me. I am looking forward to working with the very talented group of programmers, marketers, and talent across the NEXTMEDIA group of stations. These stations are strong brands and provide exceptional content to their local communities and are well positioned for a bright future. Additionally, I would like to thank MARK RAMSEY for giving me the chance to be a part of MERCURY RADIO RESEARCH. I enjoyed working with MARK and all of our clients and having the chance to learn first-hand from one of the best research minds in our industry."
ALAN will be in place at NEXTMEDIA on JANUARY 15th.
