Cumulus/Nashville's Marie Miscia To Complete Tenth Susan G. Komen '3-Day'

Kudos to CUMULUS Country WKDF and WSM/NASHVILLE Dir./Promotions MARIE MISCIA, who will embark on her tenth SUSAN G. KOMEN three-day trek in SAN DIEGO in NOVEMBER. The three-day, which raises money for SUSAN G. KOMEN's fight against breast cancer, is a 60-mile walk that is broken down into three 20-mile days of walking and two nights of camping with participants. 

"After watching this horrible disease take take my mother's life, I needed to take action in the fight to end breast cancer," said MISCIA. "The SUSAN G. KOMEN 3-DAY isn't just a 60-mile walk over the course of three days -- it's a journey to the end of breast cancer. In 2016, KOMEN announced a bold goal -- to reduce the current number of breast cancer deaths by 50% in the U.S. by 2026. That's why I'm walking and raising money -- to make that goal a reality."
